For people having Pakistani degrees including Matriculation / Intermediate, the HEC document attestation procedure begins at his point. The individual can either choose to get the degree attested themselves or rely on the agents. Gerry International and OCS are recommended agents for this process.
In case, the individual wants to get the degrees attested by them, they have to first create an account on the HEC website with all the required details and then print the challan. There are 2 options when you fill up the form on HEC website; “submission of documents through courier” or “Submission Personally”. If you are planning to visit HEC personally or sending someone on your behalf, then only select the “submission personally” option.
(Please note: the account on HEC website uses your NIC number as username and if you lose the password, it would be very difficult to reclaim the account, so keep the details safe somewhere after you have made the account)
When you select the submit personally option, the website will give you date and appointment to visit the HEC office and you or the authorized person will have to be present on that date otherwise another date would have to be taken.
Sending through authorized person:
Authorized person should be preferably blood relation like brother, father, mother or husband. You need to provide a letter of authorization in the name of the authorized person .The authorized person needs to take his original + NIC copy when he/she visits HEC.

- Original certificates from Matric onwards along with original transcripts /DMC’s
- Original Matric certificate
- Original Inter certificate
- Original Bachelors Degree with original transcript
- Original Masters degree with original transcript
- The transcripts should show date of admission & completion
- Attested Authority Letter
- HEC Application Form to be filled on the HEC website + Challan
- Photocopies of all of the above

TIP: for U.A.E they usually ask for the highest degree to be attested so you can just have the Masters Degree attested and there is no need for the Bachelors degree or the attested photocopies, unless specifically required.
